Leadership Team

Bishop Johnny W. Smith was born on January 9^th in Brooksville Mississippi.  He attended the Beale School, Dunbar Vocational H. S. and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Bishop Smith is a husband and father God blessed him with a Christian and loving wife, our Lady Missionary Cherris Smith.  Bishop Smith has worked in various church functions such as the Choir, Praise and Worship Teams, Deacon Board, Chairman of the Board, Pastor’s Aide President Pulpit Devotional Service Leader, Sunday School and bible Class Teacher.  Bishop Smith was license and ordained to by Pastor E. Franklin, straightway Temple of God Church in Chicago.   Pastor Franklin later chose Bishop to serve as the Assistant Pastor of the Church.  He also served as the assistant Pastor of Upper Room Baptist Church, under his overseer the late Pastor Willie Moffitt. God chose Bishop Johnny W. Smith to become the Founder and Pastor of New Ecclesiastes Baptist church July of 2005.  April 2011 Bishop Smith was consecrated to the office of Bishop by the college of Bishop and the Love International fellowship of Churches, serving as the Jurisdictional Bishop on the executive board.
